A LIBRARY OF BLACKNESS

The entire PRIM platform is a space for Black existence, showcasing the varying mediums used for storytelling in one place.

To start we’ve built an extensive authors’ catalogue of written content by authors of Black ancestry, country by country. From the well-renowned to the emerging literary visionist, we got you.

WRITING BY
US FOR US

Getting our work published has always been the most tough, and continues to be. If telling stories is a career choice, a fun hobby, a type of therapy or just because - we want it! We believe everything we create should be readily available.

VISUAL
STORYTELLING

Storytelling is in everything we do and visual representations of this natural human condition feeds the soul.

Widen your horizons with a wide curation of content. From short films with little dialogue that tells you everything you need to know about love, digital artistry and the soothing tones of your fam reading to you and more - PRIM is sure to become daily viewing.

ORAL
STORYTELLING

We were eavesdropping on a conversation once and they were discussing how so much of the history of a particular community was oral. This meant that no matter how many books you read you would never know their story unless it was told to you.

PRIM is creating a home for sharing these solely oral stories. It’s about archiving and sharing our stories, and centering ourselves the right way.

Simply press play, sit back and allow our soundwaves and readings to captivate, teach and warm you up with stories you can recognise.
