Born in Barcelona with Guinean Origins, Gina been interested in any form of art. Being a racialized woman in this hegemonic white society led her to question many aspects of her identity, as well as its relationship with the world in which she lives This is one of the reasons why she’s have worked in many projects in which gender and race are the center of the main idea. Gina graduated in fashion design and has been working in independent projects in theater and cinema. The aim is for her work to serve as an empowering tool for Black, racialized and afro descendent persons who can somehow identify with her story.
