PRIDE TAKEOVER
PRIDE TAKEOVER + REGENT ST POP-UP

JUNE - AUGUST 2023

In celebration and support of Pride, we are
 collaborating with & Other Stories.
We’ll be doing a takeover of both their Regent
Street store and Instagram account.

We’re excited to be chosen as the creative collective
to express our unique perspectives on the power of
storytelling.

PRIM aims to amplify and lift queer, black voices
- and that’s exactly we’ll do.

PRIM Book Recommendations

Celebrating Pride: The power of storytelling. | 'For Them' - a show of allyship to queer communities who cannot host Pride due to laws and unsafe environments. We show up for them by sharing their stories and continually finding ways actively and financially support their fight for freedom, for liberty and for their right to exist as they choose.

This recommended reading list serves to spotlight authors from Africa, the Caribbean and Afro-Latinx countries - the people who use their voices to challenge homophobia, transphobia, and all the ways it manifests.

Authors have been and continue to write as an act of resilience. In reading these works we hope you feel encouraged to do something, in whatever way you can for them. – K Bailey, PRIM
